Purchasing Assistant

Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit a Purchasing Assistant to join our team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will join us on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

The Company

Responsibilities as our Purchasing Assistant will include:

  • Chasing suppliers for delivery dates
  • Checking supplier’s order confirmations
  • Updating supplier information onto the Company database
  • Answering delivery enquiries from other departments in the business
  • General administration associated with purchasing

What we’re looking for in our Purchasing Assistant:

  • Previous experience in a Purchasing/Admin role
  • Computer literacy, including experience of in-house computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • To be highly organised and efficient
  • The ability to work accurately to deadlines
